The 2012 HDI Annual Conference & Expo will take place April 24-27 in Orlando, Florida. As the largest educational event for technical support, this conference attracts industry leaders and experts from around the world. West Texas HDI is proud to have two of our members among the industry leaders who are serving as speakers at the conference.

Danny Mar, manager of Executive and Advance Computing Support for Texas Tech University, will present "The Fundamentals of Desktop Support Operations". In this session, Danny will discuss the fundamentals and best practices of desktop support, geared toward the management and support personnel involved in those operations. Danny will cover the various methodologies and techniques used in desktop support as well as the appropriate steps and tools necessary for retrieving data, migrating from one OS to another and storing customer data.

Danny Richardson, Service Manager of IT Customer Support for B&W Pantex, LLC will present, "Can't We All Just Get Along? Changing the Face and Structure of Support". Danny and his co-presenter will discuss the All-In-One (AIO) service model. The AIO model combines all channels of customer support delivery to create one highly engaged, well trained team to improve your customer's experience.
